2017 Utah Rural Schools Conference

Students have traditionally been media “consumers”. As technology explodes in schools, students are now expected to become “creators” of media. They may be Digital Natives, but online gaming and Internet surfing are not the skills that students need to deal with the overwhelming and often unauthoritative amount of information online. This class will give participants the tools needed to have their students become published authors.
